Public consultation – new strategy for the European information society

The objective of the consultation is to identify priorities for a new UE strategy for the information society for the years 2010-2015.

It results from the fact that the current i2010 strategy for growth of Europe’s leading position in ICT and use of the information society for the benefit of the European economic growth and employment, which was adopted by the Commission in 2005, is coming to a close this year.

All citizens and organisations are welcome to contribute to this consultation. You can write your replies in any of the official EU languages.

Period of consultation: from 4 August until 9 October 2009.
