Superstacja asks how to protect oneself against hackers, 7 September 2009

In connection with the fact of stealing around 100 000 passwords and e-mails of users of a certain networking site, Konrad Wąż representing Superstacja TV station asked GIODO how to safely use the Internet.

During the interview given on 7 September 2009, Michał Serzycki, the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection emphasised again that when using the Internet one should be very careful. One has to remember that – in the context of development of modern technologies – the information disclosed online remain on the Web forever, and the Internet forms a whole and it becomes easier and easier to find information therein and combine it.
