The new Inspector General has been approved by the Senate
The Diet appointed a New Inspector General for Personal Data Protection on 26 June 2010. In accordance with the procedure specified in the Act on the Protection of Personal Data, the candidate needed to be approved by the Senate. Mr Wojciech Rafał Wiewiórowski shall begin his four-year term of office on the day he takes the oath in the Diet.
