FORMAL REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO CORRESPONDENCE
The Bureau of the Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data informs that it will answer only complaints or inquiries that do fulfill the requirements of the Administrative Procedure Code of 14 June 1960 specified under Article 63 § 2 (unified text: Journal of Laws of 2000, no. 98, item 1071 with later amendments), which reads as follows:
The request shall at least indicate its sender, the sender’s address and demand. It needs to meet the requirements set forth in specific provisions.
This means that the contents of the correspondence shall indicate at least:
- sender (name and surname),
- address (postcode, city, street and house no.) of the sender,
- subject of the case concerned.
ELECTRONIC INBOX
The electronic inbox (ESP) of the Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data is the means of electronic communication used for submitting motions, applications or complaints to the Inspector General in a digital way.
