GIODO does not issue certificates
In connection with the fact that some entities claim to be holders of „GIODO certificate” the Bureau of the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection informs that neither the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection nor any other entity issues certificates being the condition for the legitimacy of personal data processing. Therefore, certificates issued by other entities have no importance from the perspective of admissibility of data processing by the holder of such a document.
