GIODO analyses which data can be required by gasworks
GIODO informs that it conducts ex officio proceedings aimed at clarifying which data can be required by gasworks for the purposes of conclusion of contracts with individual recipients.
In connection with the information received by the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection as regards the scope of data collected by gasworks Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. (PGNiG) when concluding among others “Contract for gas fuel supply”, “Application for conclusion of contract of connecting to gas network” and “Declaration concerning the right to use premises/property…” GIODO informs that it conducts ex officio proceedings in this regard.
GIODO examines the legitimacy and adequacy (scope) of personal data processed by PGNiG for the indicated purposes.
The proceedings instituted by GIODO shall be finalised with issuing an administrative decision.
